Frequently Asked Questions
How does this exactly work? How do I get capital to trade?
To start, you first need to register on our dashboard (app.fundingtraders.com), from there you can select any account size and account type that fits your budget and trading style. Depending on the account size and type, you will have different trading rules that you have to stick to to pass the challenge/evaluation If you do pass the challenge, which mostly consists of making 10% profit target without losing a certain % daily or overall, you get Funded. The profits that you generate on your funded account are yours to keep – you can request a payout every 14 or 7 days depending on what you chose during the account selection. That’s it! Simple and straightforward.
What is the difference between Legacy and NextGen accounts?
Legacy accounts are more expensive, and they have a Max 2% Loss Per Trade rule, also known as the Consistency Rule This rule applies to both challenge and funded phase, and states that you cannot lose more than 2% of your initial account balance in 1 trade idea A trade idea is categorized as one if: It was floating, or opened at the same time at one point on the same symbol and direction or; The trades are closed and opened within 2 minutes of each other on the same symbol and direction) If you do in fact lose more than 2% of your account in 1 trade idea, the account gets closed NextGen Accounts are cheaper, by default they have a 7 day payout schedule, smaller profit target, bigger drawdowns and no max loss per trade idea rule However, NextGen accounts have, what we call a Consistency Score, which is ONLY applied to the FUNDED phase, and it requires traders to maintain a 25% consistency score or lower to request a payout, meaning no single day’s profits can exceed 25% of total profits made on the account.
How do I get a payout?
To request a payout, you must have profited on your Funded account. After that, either 7 or 14 days have to pass from your first trade. If both conditions are met, you may request a payout on our dashboard on the Payouts page. Select your account, if you would like to get paid via Crypto or Rise (Platform that lets you later withdraw crypto or directly to your bank account) and that’s it!
